The Absolutely 80s Band features some of Australia's favourite pop icons:
Brian Mannix - Uncanny X Men

Dale Ryder - Boom Crash Opera

They play all of their big hits including 'Everybody Want to Work', 'Change in Mood', 'Onion Skin', '50 Years', 'Current Stand' ,'Best Thing and loads more chart-toppers.

'The 1Louder Tour' marks 11 years of touring for this super group. To quote the infamous Nigel Tufnel, 'guitar rock god' from 'This Is Spinal Tap': "This guitar amp goes up to 11". And that's exactly what the brand new Absolutely 80s show does - it's going to push the limits of fun, excitement, energy and great Aussie music over the edge!

It's a high octane two hour show with Australia's biggest 80s hits, sung by the guys that sang 'em back then. On your radio and on Countdown. These are the guys that Molly was, um, talking about when he said: "Do yourself a favour and go buy their records". They're the real deal. Sure, they've been around but that's what makes 'em so damn good!

So, get ready to rock out with your er, whatever takes your fancy. It's time to get loud, get sweaty and get dancing as the hottest 80s show in the country, the Absolutely 80s '1Louder Tour' amps the dial up to 11!

Americana. It’s music that draws from America’s roots, from country, folk, bluegrass, R&B, the blues … But to Mark Lizotte, the musician known and loved as Diesel, Americana is the very core of his being. It’s the music of his childhood and, as an artist born in America and raised in Australia, a link back to the land he’d left behind.

On his new album Americana, Diesel pays tribute to the artists that inspired the musician he would become – one of our nation’s most lauded, accomplished and hard-working rock guitarists and singers – by putting his own unique stamp on a collection of classic songs.

In short, he re-traces the steps of his musical education paying respect to Tom Petty, CCR, The Band, Bruce Springsteen, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Bonnie Raitt and more.

The doorway into Americana, however, is a creation all Diesel’s own. Hank’s Dream was a melody that circled his head during three sleepless nights in New York last year and its title refers to the spark that brought the Lizottes to Australia all those years ago: Dad Hank’s dream of a different life on the other side of the world.

Uncannily, around the same time, one of the Lizzotte boys stumbled upon a photo from Hank and Theresa’s wedding album. “It’s this incredible black and white photo of them in front of this in front of this ridiculously big old Buick that they borrowed – they got married on a shoestring and borrowed a car from the Navy,” Diesel says. “There they are, in front of it, all dressed up … that’s classic Americana to me. So when this album happened I was like, ‘There’s my cover’.”

So now, 27 years after he busted out of the garage and into the Australian psyche with Don’t Need Love and Soul Revival, it’s time for fans to circle back and hear the songs that made the man. Americana… Diesel Solo.

The rock 'n' roll road to stardom is a dangerous road indeed littered with the corpses of starry eyed hopeful's, wannabes ,one hit wonders and jagged "if only's"...while many bands self‐implode before they even leave the garage, victims of classic clashing egos and personalities ......

Few survive…

One of these survivors is Australian band THE RADIATORS who in 2013 celebrated 35 years together since they played their very first show.

The Radiators have carved a niche in the annals of Australian rock history, they have shared the stage with all the great Aussie acts such as AC/DC, Rose Tattoo and INXS with over 4000 shows to their credit, the Radiators have played the music to an estimated 3 million people in Australia, have recorded over 100 original songs with two albums being awarded platinum status, two achieving gold and with a host of good selling records with sales totalling over 1 million units.

The rigours of touring and the passing years have not diminished the spark and energy of the Radiators... like a fine wine they have matured into fine players....masters of their art who consistently deliver high]quality shows...they have performed more gigs and travelled more than any other band before ...

Catch them live performing all their classic hits such as "Coming Home" "17 - I Wish I Was" "Summer Holiday" "Room Full Of Diamonds" "Gimme Head" "No Tragedy" "Life's A Gamble"

Ian Moss 2017 Tour Announced featuring songs from 'Matchbook'+ His Classics

Awarded ‘Album Of The Year’ at the 1990 ARIA Awards and going on to win a total of 5 ARIA Awards that night is one thing, but one could easily be forgiven for thinking ‘Matchbook’ was the Greatest Hits album of the legendary Ian Moss!

‘Tuckers Daughter’, ‘Telephone Booth’, ‘Beautiful Thing’, ‘Out of the Fire’, and ‘Mr Rain’ all feature on the 1989 solo debut album from the enigmatic Cold Chisel guitarist and singer.

Produced by Chris Lord-Alge and released in August 1989, Matchbook spent three consecutive weeks at #1, staying in the Top 10 for a staggering 14 weeks and went on to sell in excess of Double Platinum. The DVD of the Matchbook Concert Tour went Gold on the day of release

This landmark album included songs penned not only by Mossy, but also by Chisel bandmate Don Walker and included Steve Prestwich on drums along with a who’s who of Australian musicians.

Widely respected as one of Australia’s iconic musicians, on ‘Matchbook’ Ian Moss delivered an unforgettable sound – not only as a telling soloist on guitar but especially with his silken voice, ringing with clarity and resonating with pure soul.

‘Matchbook’ has stood the test of time, and Ian Moss is going to pay his respects to his first born in 2017 as he takes to the highways of Australia to perform songs from this legendary album as well as his classics, performed as only Ian Moss can.
