The Gateway Hotel is located in Corio 218 230 Princes Hwy. The hotel was built in the early 1970's. The Australian leisure and Hospitality Group acquired the hotel in the early 1990's and in 1995 transformed it into a family entertainment venue, comprising of an Smorgasbord "ALL YOU CAN EAT" Bistro, BWS drive through Bottle Shop, Function Room and 12 motel units. Opening 2009 will be Dan Murphys Liqour Barn. This should also see a Renovation for the whole Hotel mid 2009.
